In the year 2000, I joined one of the world’s most prestigious executive search firms. The first few years I was based in Spain and later in Mexico, so I had the rare opportunity of working a full decade for clients who operate on either side of the Atlantic Ocean.

The global economy has undergone a dramatic change since then. Now more than ever, companies need to recruit top talent for their businesses to thrive, but struggle to do so because of limited resources.
They often have to choose between the following alternatives:
